What You'll Do:
• Deliver engaging, accurate instruction for all assigned classes and modules, including hands-on and classroom learning as appropriate.
• Attend each class on time and provide instruction for the full scheduled period.
• Prepare and distribute course syllabi aligned with approved master syllabi and college requirements.
• Maintain accurate attendance, progress, assessment, and grade records; submit all required documentation by established deadlines.
• Monitor student performance, provide timely feedback, and communicate concerns about students who may be at risk.
• Advise, mentor, and refer students to appropriate advising or counseling resources when needed.
• Respond to student questions and assignment needs within division guidelines—generally within 24 hours on workdays and 48 hours on weekends.
• Create an inclusive, respectful, and supportive learning environment for students of all backgrounds, perspectives, and abilities.
• Collaborate with faculty, department leadership, and college staff to support student achievement and program goals.
• Follow college, LCTC, legal, accreditation, and instructional policies, including ADA and harassment-prevention requirements.
• Complete required training, professional development, and academic or occupational credential requirements.
• Represent LCTC with professionalism and contribute positively to the college community.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
• EPA Universal Certification.
• At least five years of professional HVAC experience.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively.
• Commitment to student success, professionalism, and a culture of mutual respect.
