    Now Hiring: Human Resources & Talent Manager

    Department: Administration

    Reports To: President / Operations Manager

    Classification: Full-Time | Exempt

    Position Summary

    The Human Resources & Talent Manager leads recruiting, hiring, onboarding, employee relations, training coordination, policy administration, and HR compliance. This position partners with leadership to attract, develop, and retain employees who reflect Planet Glass Core Values while supporting the company's continued growth.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    Talent Acquisition & Recruiting: Manage recruiting for all company positions; create and maintain job postings; screen resumes and conduct phone interviews; coordinate interviews, references, background checks, and offers; maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates; and represent Planet Glass at hiring events.

    Employee Relations: Serve as the primary contact for employee concerns while maintaining confidentiality. Support coaching, discipline, investigations, and conflict resolution; conduct exit interviews; and promote Planet Glass Core Values.

    Onboarding & Training: Coordinate employee orientation and onboarding; maintain personnel files and training records; track required training and job descriptions; and support employee development.

    HR Administration: Maintain HR records; coordinate benefits and payroll changes; administer company policies; ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and OSHA posting requirements; and prepare HR reports and metrics.

    Required Qualifications

    Three or more years of experience in Human Resources, Recruiting, or Talent Acquisition. Excellent communication and organizational skills; professional documentation and interviewing skills; a high level of confidentiality; and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Knowledge of Tennessee employment law is preferred.

    Preferred Qualifications

    SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification; construction or skilled-trades recruiting experience; and experience with HRIS or Applicant Tracking Systems.

    Physical Requirements

    Ability to sit for extended periods, occasionally lift up to 25 pounds, and occasionally travel to jobsites and recruiting events.
