Description:

Judge Direct Placement is seeking a second shift Human Resources Supervisor in Visalia, CA area!


  • Shift is Sunday - Thursday 5:00 PM - 1:00 AM

Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage all day-to-day employee relations functions while building strong partnerships
  • Lead all on-site people operations, including new hire onboarding, orientation, and training; 30/60/90-day check-ins; employee relations; engagement initiatives; full-cycle LOA, FMLA, ADA, and workers’ compensation processes; talent management; and offboarding/exit interviews. Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and action plans.
  • Conduct and oversee HR investigations with consistency and discretion, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as company standards.
  • Manage OSHA reporting requirements and actively contribute to workplace safety committee initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel records across payroll systems and employee files, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
  • Oversee employee status changes and ensure accurate processing in payroll and benefits systems.
  • Partner with operations leadership to support promotion decisions, administer progressive discipline, and drive proactive talent development strategies.
  • Champion company culture by fostering employee engagement, supporting change management in a high-growth environment, and contributing to recognition and retention programs in collaboration with the People Team.


Requirements:

  • 3-5 years experience overseeing an HR site
  • Knowledge of federal and state labor laws
  • Must be able to work on site
  • Computer literacy, including all Microsoft Office applications
  • Detail oriented
  • Highly Organized
