Help

  • Provide technical advice, assistance, and solutions to staffing and recruitment problems within the agency.
  • Utilize USA Staffing automated system to develop, review and post vacancy announcements, to receive, review and evaluate candidates for consideration of announcements.
  • Provide managers, employees and job applicants with information and interpretation of Federal regulations and the agencys staffing and recruitment procedures, practices, policies and guidelines.
  • Conduct quality review of staffing and recruitment actions and provide guidelines on complex and/or sensitive issues.
  • Serve as a human resources expert in the fields of staffing, recruitment and compensation (pay setting) by providing management with interpretations of complex issues.
  • Provide and conduct a broad range of qualification determination and analysis.

In order to qualify for the Human Resources Specialist (Recruitment & Placement), AD-0201 Band C position which falls under the 0201 occupational Series, you must meet the following requirements by 11:59 pm EST on 05/26/2026:

RELEVANT YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Applicants must meet the following relevant years of experience to qualify for this AD-0201- Band C (GS-13 equivalent) position:

Six (6) years comparable experience in working in federal staffing and recruitment, including posting job announcements, reviewing applicants, and advising managers on hiring rules and procedures using an automated Staffing system; setting salaries in accordance with federal pay regulations and providing guidance on complex staffing issues to ensure all actions comply with federal laws and agency policies.
