Job Title: Human Resources Specialist

Job Overview:
The Human Resources Specialist will support day-to-day HR operations within a manufacturing environment, providing responsive and professional service to employees and managers. This position will manage HR systems and employee documentation, coordinate onboarding and post-offer activities, support benefits and recruiting, oversee contract workforce administration, and identify opportunities to improve HR processes and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
· Collect, maintain, and report HR data including turnover, attendance, and volunteer service hours
· Manage HR systems, including reviews, audits, updates, and data integrity within Oracle and related platforms
· Coordinate post-offer and onboarding activities for new hires, ensuring required documentation is completed accurately and timely
· Support recruiting activities including job postings, candidate reviews, interviews, scheduling, hiring, and job description alignment
· Administer employee benefits and assist team members with health plans, compensation, and benefits-related questions
· Coordinate with temporary staffing agencies and department managers to support contract workforce needs, timekeeping, documentation, and employment issues
· Support personnel activities including terminations, exit interviews, employee records, and other HR processes
· Assist with HR initiatives, process improvements, events, and employee programs
· Maintain accurate personnel records and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment requirements
· Handle confidential employee information with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment
· Provide general HR administrative support as needed
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
· Hands-on experience supporting HR operations, recruiting, onboarding, benefits, and employee administration
· Experience with HRIS platforms; Oracle experience is preferred
· Understanding of the full recruiting lifecycle and applicant tracking systems
· Knowledge of HR compliance requirements and employment policies
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Excellent customer service skills with a people-first approach
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and confidential information
