Salary: $23.25/hour or $31/hour minimum. Job/salary offer would be commensurate with job level and experience.

GENERAL PURPOSE SUMMARY
Administers and provides subject matter expert support for one key human resources function and general support in various other functions which may include talent management, compensation, benefits, employee relations, training and development by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities:

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
HR Spec I Minimum: Three years' human resources experience with expertise in one of the following: recruiting, compensation, benefits, training and development or employee relations; or equivalent combination of education/training and experience. A Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or related field may be substituted for 2 years' experience. Knowledge of HR best practices and regulatory environment.
Preferred: PHR, SPHR, CCP, CBP or equivalent professional certification. Experience in the banking industry.
HR Spec II Minimum: Five years' human resources experience with expertise in one of the following: recruiting, compensation, benefits, learning and development, or employee relations and good working knowledge of a secondary human resources function; or equivalent combination of education/training and experience. A Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or related field may be substituted for 2 years' experience. Knowledge of HR best practices and regulatory environment.
Preferred: PHR, SPHR, CCP, CBP or equivalent professional certification. Experience in the banking industry. Lead or supervisory experience.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Ability to keyboard 35 wpm and operate a 10-key by touch required. Word processing and spreadsheet software experience required; excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, ability to plan and organize work, work effectively in teams, establish effective relationships and networks, good analytical skills and ability to draw valid conclusions required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING SKILLS:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract variables.
