Human Resources Manager – Talent Acquisition People Operations

Position Overview

We are seeking a strategic, proactive, and people-focused Human Resources Manager with a strong background in talent acquisition to lead and elevate our recruitment efforts while overseeing key HR functions. This role is ideal for an experienced recruiter who thrives on identifying top talent, building high-performing teams, and creating exceptional candidate experiences.

As our HR Manager, you will own the full recruitment lifecycle, partner closely with leadership on workforce planning, and help shape the employee experience from hiring through career development. In addition to driving hiring initiatives, you will oversee onboarding, employee relations, performance management, HR operations, compliance, and culture-building programs that support the company's continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition Workforce Planning (Primary Focus)

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment across all departments, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding coordination.

  • Develop and execute innovative recruiting strategies to attract high-quality candidates in competitive markets.

  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.

  • Partner with department leaders to understand workforce needs, forecast hiring demands, and develop strategic recruiting plans aligned with business goals.

  • Improve recruiting processes, hiring workflows, interview practices, and candidate experience to ensure an efficient and engaging hiring process.

  • Track recruiting metrics, analyze hiring performance, and recommend improvements to increase hiring efficiency and quality.

Onboarding, Training Employee Development

  • Design and manage a seamless onboarding experience that sets new employees up for long-term success.

  • Coordinate training initiatives and professional development opportunities across the organization.

  • Support managers in developing employees through coaching, feedback, and continuous learning programs.

Employee Performance Career Growth

  • Partner with leadership to administer structured performance review cycles, goal setting, and continuous feedback programs.

  • Develop employee growth plans, career pathways, and succession planning strategies that encourage internal advancement and retention.

  • Ensure consistency and fairness across all performance management practices.

HR Operations Administration

  • Maintain employee records, HR documentation, payroll information, benefits administration, and employment agreements.

  • Manage and continuously improve HR systems, reporting, and operational workflows.

  • Ensure accurate HR data and support ongoing process improvements.

Employee Relations Company Culture

  • Serve as a trusted resource for employee relations, conflict resolution, and workplace concerns.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies that align with company values and employment regulations.

  • Foster an engaging, collaborative, and inclusive workplace culture.

  • Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and company events.

Compliance Risk Management

  • Partner with legal counsel to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.

  • Maintain current knowledge of HR best practices and evolving employment regulations.

  • Ensure HR policies, documentation, and processes remain compliant and up to date.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

  • 5+ years of Human Resources experience with significant experience leading full-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition.

  • Proven success recruiting across multiple departments and building strong talent pipelines.

  • Experience developing recruiting strategies and improving hiring processes.

  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.

  • Experience managing onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and HR operations.

  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

  • High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience recruiting for professional, technical, or specialized roles.

  • Experience scaling recruiting and HR processes within a growing organization.

  • Strong networking, sourcing, and interviewing skills.

  • Experience with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).

  • Project management experience with the ability to lead HR initiatives from planning through execution.
