    Responsibilities:
    • Interprets and applies established HR policies ensuring compliance with Federal and State employment laws
    • Assist in maintaining and promoting a safe and healthy environment for employees
    • Ensure HR processes and procedures are consistently administered
    • Maintain HR database ensuring the accuracy of data and compiling of HR reports 
    • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports  
    • Keep abreast of employment law and current legislation in relation to HR
    • Support hourly recruitment efforts including reviewing job descriptions, placing job postings on applicable recruitment platforms, participate in interviews, evaluating applicant skills, and making recommendations regarding applicant's qualifications and skills
    • Develop and maintain relationships with universities and other recruitment sources
    • Participate and work collaboratively with the training team in the development and execution of new employee orientation programs and procedures for new hires
    • Track applicants and complete quarterly statistical information regarding new hires and the onboarding process
    • Participate in planning and execution of employee engagement events and activities
    • Other duties as assigned
    Qualifications:
    • 1 year of progressive HR, Business or similar studies or experience preferred.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Must be able to work on sensitive issues with discretion and commitment to confidentiality.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple priorities.
    • Self-directed and motivated.
    • Ability to work flexible hours.
    • Ability to work with a diverse population.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
    • Advanced PC skills including
