Human Resources Intern

Purpose

Camaco LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Human Resources Intern to support the HR department with personnel file management and employee onboarding activities. This part-time role offers hands-on experience in Human Resources operations and is ideal for someone interested in developing practical HR skills. We are looking for a candidate who is available to start as soon as possible.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•           Audit and organize employee personnel files to ensure accuracy and completenessCreate and maintain electronic personnel records
•           Scan, upload, and properly file HR documentsAssist with hourly employee interviewing
•           Support new hire orientation for hourly employeesMaintain confidentiality and comply with HR record-keeping requirements
•           Assist with general HR administrative duties as needed

  Qualifications

  Required Education & Experience

  Currently pursuing or recently completed coursework in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
•           High School Diploma or Equivalent

  Competencies

  Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
•           Effective communication and interpersonal skillsBasic computer skills, including experience with scanning and electronic filing systems
•           Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretionDependable and able to work independently

  Work Environment

  While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting with occasional plant floor visits and observation.
