Bonnell Aluminum is leading the way for aluminum extrusion manufacturers. Our company-wide approach to lean manufacturing drives our team to seek new methods for simplifying processes, supporting employees, and building a positive workplace culture. Our HR Internship program will introduce students to hands-on experience in Human Resources within a manufacturing environment, including recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, compliance, training, and HR process improvement.
Internships will begin in July. This is a paid internship.
Your Future Role
- Support the Human Resources team with recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, and administrative projects.
- Assist with maintaining employee records, preparing HR documents, and supporting compliance-related processes.
- Participate in HR projects focused on improving processes, communication, and the employee experience.
- Gain hands-on experience working alongside an HR mentor and cross-functional team members in a manufacturing setting.
- Deliver a presentation in August highlighting what you learned and contributed during your HR internship.
What You'll Need
- Applicants must be pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Psychology, Communications, or a related field.
- Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail oriented, self-motivated, professional, and able to handle confidential information appropriately.
- Interest in Human Resources, employee relations, recruiting, training, and the manufacturing industry.
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Scholarship Requirements
- Must obtain at least a 2.776 GPA or better in all classes.
- Grades or transcript must be submitted to Human Resources prior to the commencement of the second semester. Transcript must include your Student ID number, your name, and the name of your college or university.
