About Our Client:
Our client is a professional organization seeking a skilled Human Resources Generalist to support HR functions across multiple organizational levels. This role plays a key part in employee relations, policy interpretation, and HR program administration while partnering with internal teams and external vendors.
Job Description:
This professional-level position is responsible for providing assistance and support to all organizational levels and external partners in the interpretation and application of Human Resources-related policies, procedures, and programs. The role requires strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills to manage HR processes and employee relations effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and interpretation of company policies, procedures, and practices related to employee relations
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide consultative HR services
- Coordinate with vendor organizations to resolve escalated issues
- Prepare and process HR employment transactions in collaboration with supervisors and HR teams
- Manage workers’ compensation and disability case coordination, supporting return-to-work efforts
- Administer local alcohol and drug testing programs
- Identify and recommend updates to HR policies, procedures, and programs
- Develop and deliver HR-related communications, presentations, and training
- Support recruitment efforts including networking, sourcing, and participating in interviews
- Stay current on HR regulations, trends, and best practices
- Plan and coordinate employee events and activities
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field with at least 3 years of progressively responsible HR experience.
- Valid driver’s license
Additional Details:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Ability to perform basic statistical and analytical calculations (ratios, percentages, etc.)
- Advanced proficiency in software applications for creating reports, documents, and presentations
