A bit about us:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This is a permanent role that will serve as a key contributor to our HR department, responsible for managing various HR functions including employee relations, performance management, HR policies and procedures, and talent management. This position requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role. The successful candidate will have a strong background in HR practices and employee management, demonstrating exceptional communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both employees and management.

Job DetailsResponsibilities:
1. Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
2. Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
3. Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
4. Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
5. Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
6. Develop contract terms for new hires, promotions, and transfers.
7. Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
8. Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
9. Participate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5+ years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
2. Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
3. Excellent consulting skills.
4. Excellent client management and business literacy skills.
5. Strong conflict management skills.
6. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
8. Ability to analyze and interpret data.
9. Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously.
10. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
11. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree and/or HR Cert preferred.
