At AKRS Equipment, we invest in our people. As a growing, forward‑thinking organization, we're looking for a dedicated Human Resource Generalist to join our dynamic HR team. In this role, you'll support key HR functions, partner closely with leaders, and help create a positive employee experience across the organization.
What You'll Do:
- Assists with developing, revising, and implementing policies and procedures
- Provides guidance and support to leaders and employees on a variety of HR issues, including performance management, employee relations, and compliance with employment laws and regulations
- Maintains accurate HR records and assists with creating and maintaining HR reports
- Assists the recruiter in managing the full life-cycle recruitment process for the business to include sourcing, screening, recommending, assessing, testing, offering, and hiring
- Assists with developing and conducting new employees onboarding and orientation
- Serves as the primary back-up for payroll
- Manages and assists with other HR-related programs and projects
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field
- Certification in HR (PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP, etc.) preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of human resources experience
- Understanding of human resources best practices, laws, and regulations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
