Description

The HR Generalist supports day-to-day human resources operations across assigned departments, ensuring effective delivery of recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and HR administrative functions. This role serves as a key point of contact for team members, promotes a positive workplace culture, and ensures adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Starting Salary is $60,000 per year based on experience. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

  • 2-4 years of HR experience required, preferably in a generalist capacity.

  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays.

  • Must maintain regular and reliable attendance.

  • Compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding, including job postings, interviews, hiring documentation, and new hire orientation.

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data, including reporting and personnel changes.

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations, supporting inquiries, investigations, and workplace culture initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, labor laws, attendance tracking, audits, and I-9 verification processes.

  • Support performance management and development through training tracking and documentation of employee performance discussions.

  • Administer HR processes related to pay, benefits, status changes, and annual enrollment activities.

  • Drive employee engagement by communicating updates, supporting recognition programs, and gathering feedback.

  • Coordinate separation and offboarding processes, including exit interviews, final pay guidance, and system updates.
