Human Resources Employee Service Representative

Responsibilities

Daily Impact & Key Duties

• Act as the initial point of contact in the Employee Contact Center, addressing high volumes of inbound calls and inquiries covering payroll, benefits, and employee data management.
• Apply documented policies, procedures, and sound judgment to analyze employee requests, research information via system resources, and provide accurate solutions.
• Document transaction statuses, maintain accurate case notes, and produce detailed functional reports for all incoming discussions and cases.

What You'll Bring to the Table

• Handle first-tier human resources inquiries, specialized payroll questions, and benefits guidance within a high-volume environment.
• Working knowledge of organizational HR policies, along with federal, state, and local employment laws pertaining to employee data and benefits.
• Excellent de-escalation skills, communication techniques, and emotional composure under high-pressure or stressful customer service scenarios.
• Deep commitment to customer service expectations, meeting established performance metrics, and maintaining positive team engagement.
