Human Resources Director – Multi-Site Operations
Location: Jacksonville, FL (on-site with travel)
Career Staffing Talent (CST) is partnering confidentially with a growing, multi-site consumer-facing company headquartered in Jacksonville. This organization operates across multiple markets and is seeking a hands-on HR Director to lead people strategy, strengthen HR infrastructure, support field leadership, and help scale a high-accountability culture.
The role
You will serve as the senior HR leader, reporting to executive leadership and overseeing HR strategy, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation/benefits, compliance, and HR operations across corporate, field, operational, and seasonal employee groups.
The role is based in Jacksonville, with regular travel (10–30%) to support leaders, openings, and key initiatives across multiple markets.
What you’ll own
- Lead HR strategy and partner with executives on workforce planning, org design, and leadership development.
- Build and standardize HR policies, processes, and infrastructure that support growth and new launches.
- Own recruiting strategy and onboarding across corporate, venue, team, and event-based roles in multiple markets.
- Coach managers on employee relations, investigations, performance, and engagement.
- Ensure multi-state compliance, maintain handbooks and employment documentation, and partner closely with finance, payroll, legal, and operations.
- Oversee compensation structures, benefits, HR systems, and people metrics (headcount, turnover, time-to-fill, engagement).
What you bring
- Bachelor’s in HR, Business, or related field.
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience with senior responsibility across ER, compliance, recruiting, and HR operations.
- 3+ years leading HR teams/programs across multiple departments or locations.
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. employment law and multi-state compliance.
- Background in sports, entertainment, hospitality, retail, live events, or multi-site services is highly preferred.
- Bonus: SHRM-SCP/SHRM-CP/SPHR/PHR, or a related Master’s.
Work style and environment
- Primarily office/computer-based in Jacksonville, with regular collaboration and travel to portfolio sites.
- Some evenings/weekends tied to events and business needs.
- High discretion and judgment handling sensitive employee and business information.
