Human Resources Director

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Director to lead and manage HR operations at a key campus location. This role involves overseeing HR team members, providing strategic guidance, and ensuring the efficient execution of HR functions, including employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will foster a culture of collaboration and respect, aligning with organizational values. This position would work closely with the Vice President of Operations and Chief Human Resources Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and supervision to HR team members, ensuring effective HR service delivery.
• 
  
• Collaborate with management to assess workforce needs and develop recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
• 
  
• Manage the onboarding process, ensuring all pre-hire paperwork is accurately completed.
• 
  
• Administer HRIS and maintain accurate team member records.
• 
  
• Oversee benefits administration, including eligibility, enrollment, and changes, while supporting open enrollment activities.
• 
  
• Handle employee relations, providing guidance on HR policies, corrective actions, and conflict resolution.
• 
  
• Process and manage requests related to leaves of absence, workers' compensation, and unemployment insurance.
• 
  
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EEOC, and other regulatory requirements.
• 
  
• Promote a positive workplace culture by embodying core values of creativity, respect, openness, fairness, and teamwork.
• 
  
• Participate in leadership meetings and contribute to strategic HR initiatives.
• 
  

Qualifications:

• 
  
• Associate degree in a related field or 5-10 years of equivalent HR experience; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 
  
• Previous experience in payroll, human resources, and recruitment is essential.
• 
  
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and relate to a diverse workforce.
• 
  
• Excellent organizational skills with proficiency in time management.
• 
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software.
• 
  

Location: Goshen, IN

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8a-5p

Compensation: $68,000-78,000 + benefits!
