Full pay range: $28.85 - $33.65/hr.
The Human Resources Coordinator plays a key role in supporting ARC's recruitment and onboarding processes. This position provides essential administrative support, works closely with applicants and hiring managers, and ensures that all pre-hire and onboarding steps are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with federal and state requirements.
This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a high level of professionalism. Because this position handles confidential and sensitive employee information, strict adherence to privacy procedures is essential. The HR Coordinator must also demonstrate understanding, sensitivity, and respect for the diverse populations at ARC and within the communities we serve.
Associated Recreation Council (ARC) partners with Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR) to provide high-quality recreation, enrichment, and lifelong learning programs for people of all ages. ARC is committed to creating inclusive, engaging, and safe programs that strengthen our community.

Work Environment: This role operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, scanners, and photocopiers.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, and frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to type or handle materials, and reach with hands and arms.
Position Type and Schedule: This is a full-time position. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday; however, occasional evening or weekend work may be required depending on organizational needs.
Travel: This position may require occasional travel to ARC-supported community centers.
