About the Role

The Human Resources Coordinator supports the Chief Administrative Officer and Director of Human Resources in delivering daily HR programs and services. This role assists with recruitment, onboarding, benefits, employee records, HR systems, workplace planning, engagement initiatives, and special projects while serving as a resource to employees and handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Duties and responsibilities
 

  • Provides administrative and operational support to the Chief Administrative Officer and Director of Human Resources.
  • Supports the day-to-day operations of the Administration and Human Resources functions.
  • Serves as a resource to employees by responding to general HR questions and directing employees to appropriate resources and information.
  • Supports the implementation and administration of HR programs, initiatives, processes, and organizational projects.
  • Maintains and updates HR information in Workday, HR portals, and the HR Intranet, ensuring information is accurate and current.
  • Assists with benefits administration, including annual enrollment and ongoing employee support.
  • Supports the full recruitment and hiring process, including developing and updating job descriptions and postings, coordinating interviews, conducting background checks, and preparing offer letters and related materials.
  • Coordinates workplace planning activities, including office assignments, furniture procurement, workspace needs, and employee or departmental moves.
  • Coordinates logistics for internal events and programs, including employee training, senior management meetings, seminars, and employee engagement activities.
  • Maintains accurate and confidential employee records in accordance with applicable state and federal requirements and organizational policies.
  • Assists with new hire orientation and onboarding activities to support a positive employee experience.
  • Supports annual audits, merit processes, and other recurring HR activities.
  • Responds to general email, telephone, and employee inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinates meetings, maintains schedules, and prepares correspondence, presentations, reports, and other documents.
  • Maintains organized electronic and paper files, records, and departmental documentation.
  • Coordinates and supports projects that may involve confidential or sensitive information.
  • Conducts research, gathers data, and analyzes information to support reports, presentations, meetings, and management decisions.
  • Monitors and maintains HR office supplies, equipment, and resources.
  • Proofreads and edits reports, correspondence, presentations, policies, and other documents for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
  • Compiles and distributes HR-related materials, reports, and supporting documentation as needed.
  • Develops and maintains effective working relationships with the Executive Team, employees, consultants, vendors, and members of the public.
  • Performs other related duties and special projects as assigned.


Qualifications
 
  • Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Demonstrated professional experience supporting Human Resources functions.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms, preferably Workday, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience working with confidential employee information and maintaining accurate records.
  • Experience coordinating projects, meetings, events, or administrative programs preferred.
