You will provide advice and assistance to the HR Training Manager in all related functions while dually supporting the management and staff to further His kingdom. You’ll do this by assisting in all aspects of recruiting, staffing, payroll, policy procedure, organizational planning, staffing needs, training and development as well as general efforts. This may include information on training needs and opportunities, job descriptions, performance reviews and employee policies. You will support the staff with accurate, timely information to make effective decisions. You are: Convinced a relationship with Jesus changes everything in a person’s life. You will: Assist in the position request process ensuring all facets are in place; including but not limited to training and assisting managers to create job descriptions, completing the Position Request Forms (PRF), Staff Action Notices (SAN) and facilitating proper approvals for the position. Support the HR Training Manager to ensure all FLSA rules and guidelines are adhered to in the classification of positions and any needed changes to employee roles.
Assist in the hiring process by coordinating the job posting in the applicant tracking system (ATS), working alongside the managers to complete initial phone screens for potential candidates, follow up with managers to ensure candidates are moving along in the recruiting process and connect with the hiring managers. Create offer letters and provide follow up where necessary in the offer process. Ensure all onboarding paperwork has been completed. Ensure compliance with staff CVAST requirements. Input and maintain all information in the HRIS for new hires, changes and separations. Be responsible to keep employee records up to date in the HRIS. Ensure employee access is removed from all systems once separation is final. Arrange badge access for all new employees and log the information into the HRIS system. Update organizational charts, providing current accurate status reports to the HR Training Manager as requested. Go beyond what is asked to ensure ministries are fully supported. Work with the HR Training Manager to schedule, conduct and prepare notes for exit interviews for employees leaving Calvary. You will then work with the HR Training Manager to prepare a quarterly exit interview report for ELT review. Complete all employment verification requests. Be up to date with all FLSA and DOL changes. Pray and support the needs of Staff and the HR department. Seek God’s guidance and wisdom, through prayer, for the organization as a whole as well as for specific ministry initiatives. You have: Effective written, listening and verbal communication skills, when interacting with staff. The ability to and will act with professionalism at all times. Knowledge of principles and practices of Human Resource administration. A high level of customer service experience. Strong proficiency with Microsoft and Google programs for producing reports and presentations. The ability to project manage, organize, prioritize, and multi-task.

This is a full-time (40 hours/week) hourly non-exempt position. You may have to work evenings and/or weekends to assist with special events or emergencies.
