Job Summary
SpecialtyCare continues to grow our footprint and we have a new opportunity for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our People Team! The Human Resources Coordinator supports the Human Resources (HR) department across functions including recruiting, employee/labor relations, compensation, benefits, training, and/or systems. This is a hybrid opportunity.
Perform routine administrative tasks in support of the HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
Input data into the HRIS and review output for accuracy.
Maintain the HRIS for assigned projects.
Maintain employment records.
Facilitate and adjudicate background investigations of new hires, including all follow up for missing or incomplete items.
Monitor background vendor activity in process, and work in tandem with vendors to promptly complete applicant background checks and drug screens.
Ensure new hire's timely completion of all online onboarding paperwork and documented accordingly in Onboarding Transitions.
Create new hire files for human resources and credentialing department.
Create all new hire and replacement badges as well as order badge supplies as needed.
Ensure all new hires are added to daily chart, log all updates, and ensure chart is sent out daily.
Liaise with the Training Department and Credentialing Department for any new hire info.
Maintain all paper I-9 files and monitor and assure all outdated I-9 paperwork is completed.
Follow up on electronic I-9s for new hires, and complete E-verify.
Process all interview reimbursements and assure AP has the necessary paperwork.
Complete all internal verifications of employment and assure inquiries are sent to outsource vendor.
Process unemployment claims.
Monitor human resource and recruiting mailboxes/faxes and assure all messages are sent to the correct person.
Complete appropriate forms to process sign-on and employee referral bonuses while maintaining accurate spreadsheets.
Manage the relocation reimbursement process:
Review all submissions and ensure they meet policy guidelines.
Create new forms if needed and submit to Payroll for processing.
Send accounting all documentation needed to ensure compliance.
Communicate with associates to resolve any issues or questions and to let them know when they will receive their payment.
Gather documentation for monthly credentialing audits.
Respond to routine questions on HR policy.
