    Description

    Essential Functions/Duties/Responsibilities:
    •
    Serve as the Human Resources business partner and point of contact for leaders and team members.
    •
    Develop strong working relationships with leaders to understand departmental operations, workforce challenges and priorities.
    •
    Provide onsite support to leaders on team member relations, performance management, corrective action, conflict resolution, and team member concerns.
    •
    Support workplace investigations, ensuring concerns are addressed promptly, objectively, consistently, and appropriately documented.
    •
    Serve as an enthusiastic ambassador for organizational culture, helping ensure HR interactions and activities reflect hospitality, positivity, inclusion, and a genuine appreciation for team members.
    •
    Partner with the HR team to promote communications, activities, and experiences that increase awareness and participation in HR programs and organizational events.
    •
    Partner with HR team to bring creativity, energy, and fun to HR initiatives by developing engaging ways to celebrate team members, promote programs, recognize milestones, and strengthen workplace connection.
    •
    Develop relationships and maintain a visible presence throughout the community, engaging with residents to better understand and support the connection between team member experience, resident satisfaction, and Montereau's culture of service excellence.

    Partner with leaders and team members to promote a hospitality-focused culture that enhances both the team member and resident experience, supporting Montereau's commitment to delivering exceptional service and meaningful connections.
    •
    Help create a warm, welcoming, approachable, and service-oriented Human Resources environment where team members and leadership feel comfortable seeking support and engaging with HR.
    •
    Provide hands-on support for Human Resources activities, events, celebrations, recognition programs, and team member promotions.
    •
    Participate in special projects and strategic Human Resources initiatives that support organizational priorities.
    •
    In collaboration with the CPO and Director of Compliance and Risk, create, revise and amend the Montereau Team member handbook
    •
    Facilitate and coordinate the annual performance review process, including establishing timelines, communicating expectations, monitoring progress, and supporting goal setting to promote a consistent and meaningful performance management process across the organization.
    •
    Facilitate I-9 audit
    •
    Support the performance management process, including goal setting, performance discussions, development planning, and performance improvement plans.
    •
    Provide guidance on the interpretation and consistent application of HR policies, procedures, practices, and employment-related requirements.
    •
    Advise managers on internal equity considerations.
    •
    Collaborate with HR colleagues on leadership development, team member engagement, benefits, recruitment, compliance, and organizational initiatives.
    •
    Support change management efforts and help leaders effectively communicate and implement organizational changes.
    •
    Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to team member relations, performance management, investigations, and other HR matters.
    •
    Maintain a high level of confidentiality, professionalism, sound judgment, and discretion in handling sensitive team member and organizational matters.
    •
    Model and reinforce a professional, respectful, and low-drama workplace culture by maintaining appropriate boundaries, avoiding gossip, addressing concerns directly and constructively, de-escalating conflict, and focusing conversations on solutions rather than personalities.
    •
    Stay current on applicable federal and state employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices and assist with maintaining organizational compliance.
    •
    Perform other duties as assigned.
