    Summary

    As we grow in the Louisiana market, we are looking for a dynamic professional who will help us to identify, support, and develop our greatest resource, our people. This person will oversee our growing team in Plaquemines Parish, LA as it relates to talent acquisition, compliance, employee relations and performance management. The ideal candidate will have experience building teams in a high growth industrial environment with a focus on helping leaders to not just fill jobs, enforce policies and administer benefits, but write compelling job descriptions that highlight our employment brand, create innovative staffing solutions in a lean environment, and develop policies that support our culture and mission. The right person will challenge conventional HR thinking in service of finding unique solutions.

    General Description Duties & Responsibilities

    • Serve as a strategic partner to business leaders on recruiting, performance management and workforce planning.
    • Use people analytics and key HR metrics to assess trends, present insights, and inform data driven decisions.
    • Lead employee relations investigations and provide guidance to managers on complex HR issues in accordance with applicable laws and company policies.
    • Support the design and implementation of succession planning, talent development and retention strategies.
    • Partner with leadership on change management initiatives and engagement strategies
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations and maintain up to date knowledge of HR best practices.
    • Collaborate with HRIS, Total Rewards and Recruiting to align with the business needs.

    Qualifications

    Required experience

    • 5-7+ years of progressive HR Generalist or HRBP experience supporting diverse client groups
    • Proven success using data and HR metrics to influence strategic decisions.
    • Deep knowledge of employment law, compliance frameworks, and HR policy development.
    • Strong relationship management, coaching and communication skills.
    • Experience managing employee relations matters and facilitating performance improvement.
    • Workday experience a plus.

    Required Education

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred

    • SHRM
    • PHR
