Overview:

Must be within 30 miles of Castle Park 

The HR Business Partner serves as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, managing core HR functions across staffing, employee relations, performance management, training, and compliance. This role balances strategic guidance with hands-on execution of HR programs. 

What You’ll Do 

Leadership & Strategy 

  • Consults with managers and employees on performance and employee relations issues through one-on-one and group meetings 
  • Manages the performance evaluation program and succession planning to ensure fairness and effectiveness 
  • Develops management training on interviewing, hiring, terminations, performance reviews, safety, and harassment 
  • Ensures compliance with applicable federal and state employment laws 

Operations & Execution 

  • Manages the discipline process and advises on performance-related concerns 
  • Administers the ADA interactive process and advises on FMLA requirements (in partnership with a third-party vendor) 
  • Conducts workplace investigations and manages employee relations complaints, including EEOC cases 
  • Responds to employee questions on policies, procedures, and programs 

Training & Development 

  • Leads employee and management training based on business needs 
  • Conducts exit interviews to identify turnover trends and recommend retention strategies Supports departments with new hire selection 
  •  

What You’ll Bring 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 5+ years of HR experience, including labor relations 
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical-thinking skills; high integrity 
  • Sales/marketing awareness and P&L understanding preferred 
  • Ability to travel ~20% and work extended hours, including weekends/holidays, as needed
