How you’ll make an impact:
• Partner with people leaders on workforce planning, team structure, organizational design, leadership coaching, and talent strategy.
• Advise managers and employees on policy interpretation, investigations, conflict resolution, performance concerns, discipline, offboarding, and day-to-day people decisions.
• Partner with leaders to address employee relations concerns, conduct investigations, and support appropriate follow-up actions.
• Oversee the performance evaluation process, including coaching, documentation, corrective action, development planning, and effective use of performance management tools.
• Manage succession planning and nine-box talent review processes to support consistent performance, potential, and development discussions.
• Partner with managers and Sunmark University to identify performance gaps and implement learning solutions that support employee growth and business goals.
• Support the development, implementation, and enforcement of HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
• Assist with the annual Human Resources budget, as needed.
• Maintain visibility and relationships with employees through regular visits to credit union locations.
What we’re looking for:
• A minimum of 4 years of progressive Human Resources experience in a business-facing role; a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
• Strong experience in employee relations, leadership coaching, performance management, change management, and employment law.
• Comfort using HR systems, technology, and data to identify trends and recommend solutions; UKG or similar HRIS experience is a plus.
• A trusted, approachable communication style with the ability to support leaders and employees with professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment.
• The ability to manage deadlines, adapt to changing priorities, and support business needs with flexibility.
