We are seeking a Human Resources Business Partner for our Garden Grove, CA Plant.
Summary:
Administers all HR operations and is directly responsible for site(s) within the respective perimeter as well as acts as both a change agent and thought leader for the respective perimeter.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff
- Oversees the daily workflow of the department
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations
- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with Federal, State, Local Authorities and company policy
- Executes payroll
Additional Duties:
- Provides human resources (HR) consultation to a designated business unit.
- Uses working knowledge of the business to provide HR support and guidance.
- Partners directly with business leaders to define and execute HR strategies that align with business objectives and key initiatives.
- Analyzes trends and develops strategies to resolve HR issues and make a positive impact on business results.
- Leads organizational assessments that convert strategies into result-driven actions. Provides change-management support as needed.
- Acts as a liaison with other HR functions.
Qualifications:
- BS/BA in human resources, international relations or other business-related field or an equivalent amount of experience and training.
- At least 5-7 years of human resource experience.
- Fluency in Spanish
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP)
- Knowledge and working with ADP Workforce Now
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Thorough understanding of US, and CA specific employment laws as warranted.
- Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
