Professional Transportation, Inc. (PTI) is looking for a motivated, experienced HR Business Partner to join our Human Resources team!
In this role, you'll do more than fill open positions. You'll help shape how we attract, hire, and onboard talent across our organization. You'll work closely with hiring managers and field leadership, provide guidance to our recruiting team, and identify creative solutions to staffing challenges.
We're looking for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, takes initiative, and isn't afraid to think outside the box!
What You'll Do
- Lead & Support: Provide day-to-day guidance to our recruiting team, helping drive results and improve hiring processes.
- Recruit Great Talent: Develop creative sourcing strategies, screen candidates, and help connect the right people with the right opportunities.
- Partner with Leadership: Collaborate with hiring managers and field leaders across the country to understand staffing needs and develop effective hiring solutions.
- Improve Processes: Use recruiting data, trends, and feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and greater efficiency.
- Support HR Operations: Help ensure recruiting, onboarding, and HR systems are accurate, efficient, and compliant with employment laws and company policies.
- Make an Impact: Play a key role in strengthening our workforce and supporting PTI's continued success.

Requirements
What We're Looking For:
- 3-5 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or human resources.
- Experience in high-volume or multi-location recruiting preferred.
- Previous team leadership, mentoring, or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of recruiting practices, employment laws, and applicant tracking systems.
- Someone who is proactive, adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities.
- A collaborative team player who can build relationships, influence others, and bring fresh ideas to the table.

About Company
PTI has been providing crew transportation services for railroads since 1980 and has an industry reputation for providing quality, reliable, and safe crew transportation services. What is Crew Transportation? Most of us never think about how railroad train crews get home after they drive trains to their destinations, but those crews need to return home and new, rested crews need to be taken to those trains. In summary, the process of driving those crews from point to point is crew transportation. Much like a shuttle service, PTI receives around-the-clock requests from our railroad customers to pick up and drop off train crews. PTI dispatchers match up drivers with these trips and the drivers safely transport the crews to their destinations. Taking place thousands of times a day, these trips can range from a few miles to a few hundred miles.
