    About the Role

    The Human Resources Business Partner will provide strategic and hands-on HR support to a key business unit, partnering closely with leaders to align people strategies with business objectives and operational priorities.


    This role is deeply integrated into the business and requires an HR leader who can move comfortably between strategic partnership and day-to-day execution. The HRBP will coach leaders, manage employee relations matters, support organizational change, drive performance management, and provide insight across workforce planning, organizational development, and succession planning.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Partner with business and functional leaders to align HR strategies and priorities with business objectives.
    • Coach and advise leaders on employee relations, performance, organizational, and workforce matters.
    • Lead and support employee relations matters and workplace investigations.
    • Serve as a trusted HR subject matter expert, providing guidance to employees, managers, and leadership.
    • Support workforce planning, organizational development, and succession planning.
    • Lead the performance management process and help drive consistent, effective practices across the organization.
    • Support organizational change, continuous improvement, and culture-building initiatives.
    • Partner with leaders to understand current and future staffing requirements.
    • Ensure consistent application of HR policies and compliance with federal and state employment laws.
    • Support the development, implementation, and communication of HR programs and initiatives.
    • Mentor and support junior HR team members and collaborate across the broader HR organization.


    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • 8+ years of progressive, broad-based Human Resources experience.
    • 3+ years of experience operating in an HR Business Partner capacity within a manufacturing organization.
    • Prior HR experience supporting manufacturing and/or engineering populations.
    • Government contracting experience preferred.
    • HR professional certification such as PHR or SHRM-CP preferred, or the ability to obtain certification within 12 months of hire.

    • Broad working knowledge across HR disciplines, including employee relations, compensation, organizational development, performance management, and employment law.
    • Strong ability to build trusted relationships and influence leaders across the organization.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong judgment and discretion when navigating confidential or sensitive employee matters.
    • Highly adaptable and comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.
    • Self-motivated, solutions-oriented, and willing to take ownership of new and evolving responsibilities.
    • Strong attention to detail with the ability to independently manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
