We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team and support the effective and efficient operations of our HR department.

Position Overview
The HR Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department while also assisting with general office coordination. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with people, managing multiple priorities, and supporting day-to-day HR and office functions. 

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources Support 

  • Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including document collection and system updates 
  • Maintain and accurately update employee records and personnel files, including consistent data entry, while ensuring a high level of confidentiality 
  • Support benefits administration, timekeeping, and HR reporting as needed 
  • Schedule interviews, orientations, and HR-related meetings 
  • Respond to routine employee questions and route inquiries appropriately 
  • Assist with compliance-related documentation and audits 

Office & Administrative Support 

  • Serve as a first point of contact for visitors, phone calls, and general inquiries 
  • Support office events, meetings, and employee engagement activities 
  • Assist with mail distribution, filing, copying, and document preparation 
  • Oversee stocking, organization, and ordering of kitchen supplies 
  • Support CEO with travel planning and expense management 
  • Help maintain a professional, organized office environment 

Qualifications 

Required 

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • 1–3 years of administrative, HR, or office support experience 
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) 
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion 

Preferred

  • Experience with HRIS or payroll systems 
  • Knowledge of basic HR practices and employment regulations
