What You’ll Do:
- Own the restaurant’s day-to-day HR function and team member experience.
- Lead staffing strategy including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, retention, and succession planning.
- Build and execute people systems that support performance, development, recognition, and morale.
- Lead new hire orientation and help design team member recognition moments that strengthen culture.
- Support leaders with coaching on performance conversations, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution.
- Handle employment-related questions from applicants, team members, and leaders with care and discretion.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and keep HR practices up to date.
- Stay current on HR trends, best practices, and new tools that improve how we hire and develop people.
- Help administer HR programs including compensation, benefits, leave, workplace safety, and training.
- Protect confidentiality and model professionalism in every interaction
- Other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
- You have at least 3 years of HR management experience (preferred).
- You communicate clearly and confidently, both written and verbal.
- You build trust quickly and handle sensitive situations with integrity and discretion.
- You are organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities.
- You have strong judgment and can navigate conflict with calm and care.
- You understand employment laws and compliance standards, or can learn them quickly.
- You are comfortable using HRIS and talent systems, or you learn new tools fast.
- You lead with service and bring out the best in others.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP and being bilingual is highly desired.
