May Institute is looking for an experienced Human Resource Generalist - Employee Relations to join our HR team. In this role, you'll lead investigations and make recommendations to guide managers and employees through workplace concerns. This is a key position for someone who values integrity, confidentiality, and meaningful impact.
What You'll Do
- Lead fair, thorough investigations into employee concerns and allegations of employee misconduct
- Advise managers and staff on investigation outcomes and next steps
- Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of all investigations and employee relations matters, including notes and reports
- Identify trends arising from investigations and recommend solutions to promote a positive work culture
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field or commensurate experience
- 3-5 years' experience in employee relations or workplace investigations
- Strong knowledge of employment laws (ADA, FMLA, Title VII, etc.)
- Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability and willingness to travel occasionally to other May Institute sites as business needs require
- Ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion

Compensation: $70,000-$76,000
