As a Human Resource Generalist, you will play a vital role in supporting our HR functions to foster a productive and compliant workplace. You’ll collaborate with management and teams to enhance employee engagement, ensure legal compliance, and help drive operational success through effective HR practices.

What You’ll Do
As a Human Resource Generalist, you will be responsible for:
  • Maintaining and updating accurate employee records to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
  • Managing disciplinary actions and handling employee terminations when necessary, ensuring a fair and consistent process.
  • Negotiating with temporary staffing agencies to secure high-quality temporary employees at competitive rates.
  • Overseeing costs associated with third-party recruiting services or online job postings.
  • Investigating employee incidents and collaborating with management to implement appropriate corrective measures.
  • Working closely with payroll to resolve employee issues, receive drug screening results, and manage leave, unemployment, and workers’ compensation claims.
  • Coordinating and supporting the performance management process, including assisting in wage determinations and scheduling pay increases.

What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, civil rights, and company HR policies.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop positive relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Active listening skills to effectively understand and resolve employee concerns.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills are preferred but not required.
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in business, human resources, or communication.
  • A minimum of three years of human resource experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and a proactive approach to HR challenges.
