| Job Description: | The Human Resource Coordinator aids with and facilitates the human resource processes at all business locations. The ideal candidate can interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role. Candidate will have general administrative responsibilities, is very detail-oriented, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines, can work independently, and has a strong initiative to get things accomplished.
On-site 2-3 days per week with remote work the others
Any of the 3 Dallas locations can be their work location
Key Responsibilities
1. Facilitating communication between employees and management and resolving employee relations matters as it pertains to safety case investigations up to and including corrective action.
2. Implementing, administering and advising on company Safety policies and procedures
3. Providing guidance and advice to management on progressive discipline as it relates to safety matters.
4. Identify, investigate, and resolve issues pertaining to safety employee concerns or conflict in an appropriate and timely manner.
5. Maintain detailed and accurate accounts of investigation with timely memorialization of the notes and supporting documents into the ER case management system.
6. Identifying trends and patterns as it relates to safety cases in employee relations and proposing solutions to improve the work environment
7. Training and mentoring HR team members on employee relations processes and best practices specifically as it relates to safety matters.
8. Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
9. Assist with I9 Process
10. Performs other duties as assigned based on business needs or at the manager's discretion
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong decision-making and problem solving skills.
• Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
• Computer literate with MS Office, advanced Excel and other related business and communication tools.
• Ability to work independently and in groups
• 1-3 years of HR Coordinator experience (preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related degree (preferred) |
