Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Office of Hope, Unity, and Belonging team to plan and execute programs and events that enhance cultural awareness and foster a sense of belonging for all students.
- Assist in the development and facilitation of belonging training sessions for students, faculty, and staff.
- Support the coordination of student organizations and affinity groups that promote hope, unity, and a sense of belonging.
- Conduct research and contribute to creating resources, guides, and materials on topics related to hope, unity, and belonging.
- Assist with assessing and evaluating HUB initiatives, including data collection and analysis to measure impact and inform future programming.
- Collaborate with campus departments and external organizations to establish partnerships that promote unity and belonging.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Office of Hope, Unity, and Belonging''s online presence, including social media platforms and website content.
Required Qualifications
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a graduate program at Belmont University, preferably in a field related to hope, unity, and belonging, communication, higher education, counseling, social work, or a related discipline.
- Strong commitment to promoting hope, unity, and belonging on campus.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge and understanding of belonging trends.
- Experience in event planning, program development, or student leadership is desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
