TRC Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced HSE Specialist to support commercial construction projects in the Atlanta area. This role is responsible for promoting a safe work environment, ensuring OSHA compliance, conducting site inspections, investigating incidents, and partnering with project teams and subcontractors to maintain safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily site safety inspections and audits.

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.

  • Investigate incidents, document findings, and implement corrective actions.

  • Lead safety meetings, training sessions, and toolbox talks.

  • Review subcontractor safety plans, JHAs, and pre-mobilization documentation.

  • Coordinate emergency response procedures and maintain safety equipment.

  • Track safety metrics, maintain reports and logs, and support workers’ compensation and claims processes.

  • Partner with project leadership to identify risks and drive continuous safety improvements.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Safety, or related field preferred.

  • 2–5+ years of construction safety experience.

  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety best practices.

  • Professional safety certifications (OSHA 500, CHST, CSP, or similar) are a plus.

  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
