    WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

    • Further development of the occupational safety area, including the creation of concepts, guidelines and standards
    • Professional advice and support for managers and employees in all matters relating to occupational safety and health protection
    • Implementation and monitoring of safety policies, procedures and standards in compliance with legal and internal company requirements
    • Conducting risk assessments, safety inspections and audits, as well as defining and tracking corrective actions
    • Maintenance and further development of the hazardous substances register, management of safety data sheets (SDS) and active consultation on the safe handling of chemicals
    • Planning, organizing and delivering training sessions and awareness measures to promote an active safety culture
    • Cooperation with internal and external partners, e.g. authorities, occupational physicians and specialist committees

    WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

    • Engineering Degree with experience in HSE
    • Experience in occupational Health and Safety +145 hour accredited certification
    • Several years of experience in a comparable position in occupational safety and hazardous substances management, ideally in a technologically advanced industrial environment
    • Experience with digital tools for safety monitoring and documentation is an advantage
    • Sound knowledge of relevant legal regulations and standards such as NEBOSH, ISO 45001
    • Ability to communicate complex issues clearly and to raise awareness for safety matters among different stakeholders
    • Fluent Romanian language skills and very good English skills (C1 written and spoken); German is an advantage
    • Willingness to travel occasionally
    • Confident manner, strong organizational skills and good negotiation abilities
