TradeWorX Pittsburgh is seeking an HSE Field Specialist to support health, safety, and environmental initiatives across active construction and industrial job sites throughout the region. This is a field-based position responsible for conducting site audits, coaching employees on safe work practices, investigating incidents, supporting regulatory compliance, and promoting a strong safety culture. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, and comfortable traveling extensively between job sites while serving as a visible safety resource for field operations.

Pay & Overtime
- $34.00–$38.00 per hour
- Overtime available based on project and operational needs
Schedule
- Full-time (40 hours per week)
- Regional travel between active job sites
- Must be available to respond to incidents and emergencies as needed
Job Duties
- Conduct field safety audits and inspections at active job sites
- Identify hazards and verify corrective actions are completed
- Complete HSE audit reports and communicate findings to management
- Investigate incidents and perform root cause analysis
- Support OSHA, DOT, and EPA compliance initiatives
- Deliver toolbox talks, safety orientations, and field coaching
- Develop and revise HSE policies and procedures
- Respond to incidents and provide field-level HSE support
- Assist with administrative and documentation tasks as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Safety Science or related field
- 1–5 years of HSE experience in construction or gas industry preferred
- Working knowledge of OSHA, DOT, EPA, and applicable HSE regulations
- Experience conducting incident investigations and safety audits
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver's license with ability to travel extensively
- OSHA 30 preferred or willingness to obtain
