Shift: Monday to Friday , with flexibility to rotate work shifts – normally 50 hours per week

Introduction
Join our team as an HSE Engineer and play a pivotal role in promoting safety, health, and environmental responsibility within our Process Technology operations. This position is a contractor role at our Client's Plant in Port Manatee, FL, where you will work full-time onsite.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5 or more years of experience in HSE, with emphasis on industrial safety
- In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices, with the ability to apply them effectively in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
- Proven ability to develop positive relationships and collaboration with Production teams to improve the safety culture
- Experience in incident investigation and reporting, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, or in a related field or High School diploma
- OSHA 30h training (certified or in progress)
- Previous field HSE experience in manufacturing or mechanical/welding construction areas
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Provide HSE field support to all Production areas and warehouse, conduct shop floor rounds, inspections, audits and have direct and consistent interaction with the production teams
- Apply Stop Work Authority when necessary and empower/train others to apply it
- Integrate HSE processes and safe work practices into daily operations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, permits, and certifications.
- Deliver HSE training to new hires and existing employees
- Participate in Shift Starter/Tier 1 work shift Production meetings
- Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards, review, update and deploy Safe Work Procedures and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs)
- Track HSE related actions and compliance tasks to closure using HSE Management System (MST).
- Collaborate with various internal departments, senior management, and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication, training, and education on HSE matters.
- Conduct and support incident investigations
