Position Summary
Fall River School District, along with Rio School District is seeking a motivated, dedicated, and knowledgeable Head Softball Coach to lead and develop our high school co-op softball program. The ideal candidate will promote "we before me" team culture, sportsmanship, accountability, and academic success while fostering a positive and competitive environment for student-athletes.
Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and lead all aspects of the high school softball program.
Develop and implement practices, game strategies, and player development plans.
Promote sportsmanship, discipline, teamwork, and respect among student-athletes.
Support the academic success, personal growth, and overall well-being of student-athletes.
Communicate effectively and professionally with players, parents, school administration, and coaching staff.
Supervise and coordinate assistant coaches while establishing a positive, collaborative coaching culture.
Maintain compliance with school district policies, athletic department expectations, and applicable state athletic association rules.
Oversee the care, use, and maintenance of team equipment and facilities.
Participate in program development, offseason planning, and youth program initiatives as appropriate.
Demonstrate professionalism and serve as a positive role model for student-athletes.
