Purpose: The HRMS Analyst II - Time & Attendance serves as a technical expert responsible for the functional administration, optimization, and strategic enhancement of HR technology platforms. This role encompasses advanced system administration across core HR, Time & Attendance, and related HR applications, ensuring system integrity, performance, and alignment with business requirements. In addition to system administration, the role drives data driven insights, operational efficiency, and continuous process improvement across the organization, supporting scalable and compliant workforce management practices.Essential Functions:
Delivers advanced Tier 2 technical support for complex HRMS inquiries, troubleshooting system issues across core HR and time and attendance, with escalation protocols for critical incidents Manages UKG accrual processes, including regularly reviewing and troubleshooting accrual-related issues to ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations Implements, tests, and monitors changes to accrual calculations in UKG based on business requirements and policy updates while ensuring system accuracy and data integrity Responds to and manages HRIS-related ServiceNow tickets, ensuring timely resolution of user issues, system defects, and inquiries across HR systems Maintains and optimizes system foundation tables, workflows, and configurations across HRMS and integrated systems Conducts regular data integrity audits and ensures HRIS processes (including UKG accrual management) comply with company policies and regulatory requirements Provides user support and training for employees and managers on UKG and other HR systems, ensuring effective adoption and utilization Develops and maintains user guides, FAQs, and knowledge base resources to promote self-service and reduce support volume Manages user access and security, including addressing access issues, resolving permission discrepancies, and ensuring appropriate role-based access across HR systems Creates and maintains comprehensive technical documentation, user guides, and standard operating procedures for knowledge transfer and best practices Participates in evaluation, testing, and implementation of HRMS upgrades, patches, and new system integrations while championing continuous improvement initiatives Partners with IT, Talent Management, Total Rewards, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless system integration; serves as subject matter expert for HR technology solutions Collaborates with software vendors and internal development teams to implement sustainable solutions and participates in HR transformation initiatives aligned with regulatory and business needs
Reporting Relationship: The HRMS Analyst II - Time & Attendance reports to the Senior Manager of HRIS
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment:
Education and Experience: The combination of education and professional experience must exceed 5 years:o In a technical role: Requires 3-5 years of HRMS analytics experience A bachelor's degree related to the functional area can count for 1 of the 5-year requiremento In the industry: 3-5 years of Hospitality, F&B, and/or Retail experience a pluso Must have previous experience with HRMS and other HR related systems; working experience of SAP SuccessFactors and UKG Kronos a plus Specialized training:o Requires training that leads to advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office; Excel skills should include lookups, pivot tables, and complex formulas Specialized Skillset/Competencies/Traits: o Basic understanding of HR processes including talent acquisition, employee lifecycle management, time and attendance, compensation and benefits, and regulatory compliance requirementso Technical aptitude with strong organizational and analytical skills and ability to work independently o Demonstrated ability to interact with a wide variety of people, organize and coordinate multiple priorities, learn and develop new skills, and effectively solve issues that ariseo Process and detail oriented approach to work o Knowledge of employee data confidentiality, right-to-know principles, and privacy regulations that affect system access controls and data handlingo Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audienceo Business acumen and also has the mindset required to understand the long-term implications of HR technology planning and to advance the organization's goalso Demonstrated history of understanding the needs of the business, stakeholders, the employee population and individual circumstanceso Demonstrated history of creating and maintaining positive work environments Location: This position is based at the North America Support Center in Bethesda, MD
