LHH is working with a company in the construction industry who is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical HRIS & Benefits Analyst. This role serves as the key liaison between Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits Administration, and Technology, ensuring the integrity of employee data, optimization of HR systems, and effective administration of employee benefit programs. The ideal candidate will combine strong HRIS expertise with benefits administration experience and thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment supporting a diverse workforce across field and corporate operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
HRIS Administration & Reporting:
- Serve as the primary administrator for the company's HRIS platform (Workday, UKG, Oracle, ADP, or similar).
- Maintain employee data integrity, system workflows, security permissions, and organizational structures.
- Develop, maintain, and automate HR dashboards, reports, and workforce analytics.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accurate employee, compensation, benefits, and compliance data.
- Support system upgrades, testing, implementations, and process improvements.
- Partner with Payroll, HR, Finance, and IT to troubleshoot system issues and optimize workflows.
Benefits Administration:
- Administer health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement, and wellness programs.
- Manage employee enrollments, status changes, qualifying life events, and terminations.
- Coordinate annual open enrollment activities and employee communications.
- Work closely with benefits carriers, brokers, and vendors to resolve eligibility and claims issues.
- Assist with benefits billing audits, reconciliation processes, and compliance reporting.
- Support ACA, COBRA, FMLA, and other benefits-related compliance initiatives.
Analytics & Compliance:
- Analyze benefits utilization, workforce trends, turnover, and other HR metrics.
- Prepare reports and recommendations for HR leadership regarding benefit programs and workforce data.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
- Support HR initiatives through data-driven insights and reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
- 3+ years of HRIS, benefits administration, HR analytics, or related HR experience.
- Experience supporting HRIS platforms such as Workday, UKG, ADP, PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP, etc.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis.
- Experience creating reports and dashboards.
- Experience supporting and optimizing enterprise HRIS, payroll, or workforce management platforms within a complex organizational environment.
- Hands-on experience administering employee benefit programs, including enrollments, qualifying life event changes, vendor coordination, and billing reconciliation.
- Working knowledge of employment eligibility verification, onboarding compliance, and benefits continuation programs.
- Familiarity with employee benefits compliance, retirement plan administration, annual reporting requirements, and related audit processes.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, reporting, pivot tables, lookup functions, and dashboard creation.
- Experience supporting organizational growth initiatives, system integrations, acquisitions, mergers, or large-scale workforce transitions.
- Background working in a multi-location, multi-entity, or decentralized business environment.
- Professional HR, benefits, or compensation certifications preferred (SHRM, HRCI, CEBS, or equivalent).
Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
