    Maintain and manage the HRIS system including the HR, Benefits Administration, Compensation modules, and system processing. Assist the HRIS Manager and work closely with the HR, IS, and Payroll Departments in the analysis, design, and implementation of changes or enhancements to the HRIS system.

    This is an on-site position which will require the candidate to report and work from the office. Therefore, interested candidates should be within a 50-minute radius from Temple, TX.

    What You'll Do:

    • Work on problems of various scopes where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors; exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action; may recommend changes to existing procedures and practices based on analysis of data.
    • Oversee technology projects which include ensuring quality, timeliness and proper use of HR information retrieved from systems, reviewing and prioritizing system maintenance and creating enhancement request for the HRIS system, leading project teams for integrations, upgrades, modifications, enhancements, etc., and participating in issue tracking and resolution formulating for all HR systems.
    • Analyze HR processes and make recommendations for improvements via the use of technology; oversee the specifications, development and implementation of new or redesigned systems, reports and procedures for HR module users to ensure efficient business processes.
    • Perform weekly maintenance of all HR Workday modules and vendor interfaces/data extracts.
    • Monitor the HRIS system through data audits and reports by working closely with the Benefits, IT, and Payroll teams to ensure data integrity and also recommend changes in methods or procedures to increase efficiency of the HRIS function.
    • Prepare and executes tests to ensure that modifications to the system are adequately tested prior to implementation.
    • Maintain and develop the HRIS procedures manual and distribution of all changes to the appropriate teams.
    • Assist in training other members of the HR, Benefits, Compensation, and Payroll teams to enhance the performance of the system and increase their knowledge and skills in Workday.
    • Assist the Benefits team during open enrollment by working closely with the team to address and resolve enrollment issues.
    • Assist with Recruitment modules in maintaining support and new requirements.
    • Assist field HR with any input, correction and reporting requirements.
    • Perform other duties as necessary.

    What We're Looking For:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration.
    • One or more years of Workday systems experience.
    • Knowledge of Workday querying, data analysis, and testing.
    • Some knowledge of HR, payroll, and benefits.
    • Excellent communication skills and customer service skills.
    • Extensive problem-solving experience working with all aspects of the technical system including troubleshooting and determining best alternatives for implementing new procedures.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Access or Excel preferred.
    • This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
