The Analyst develops transaction instructions, validation rules, and technical support for basic Workday data entry performed by the HR Coordinator and other approved users; complex corrections, mass loads, security, configuration, and production changes remain with HRIS. The role also provides designated secondary support for selected U.S. payroll activities under documented controls, while the US Payroll Manager retains end-to-end payroll ownership.

    • Translates approved requirements into routine configuration and business-process changes and maintains impact assessments, test scripts and results, approvals, migration records, and production-validation documentation.
    • Serves as the primary Tier 1 and Tier 2 HRIS support and case-triage resource; resolves user, transaction, data, reporting, and configuration issues, performs root-cause analysis, and escalates complex or high-risk matters.
    • Supports implementation of new Workday products/SKUs and modules, enhancements, release and regression testing, user-acceptance testing, cutover, hypercare, and user-adoption activities.
    • Creates and maintains custom and ad hoc reports, calculated fields, dashboards, scheduled distributions, data extracts, and specialized analytics while validating security and data accuracy.
    • Executes approved EIBs, mass data loads, data corrections, and recurring administrative processes and performs audits, reconciliations, exception analysis, and root-cause correction to protect data integrity.
    • Administers routine security assignments and monitors scheduled integrations and vendor interfaces; performs first-level troubleshooting, maintains runbooks and issue logs, and supports access reviews, segregation-of-duties analysis, and audit evidence.
    • Develops transaction guides, validation rules, and training for basic Workday data entry performed by the HR Coordinator and other approved operational users; reviews escalations and handles complex corrections, configuration, security, and mass-load needs.
    • Maintains configuration inventories, process maps, standard operating procedures, test libraries, job aids, and knowledge articles and delivers user training and office-hours support as assigned.
    • Provides system, reporting, and data support across Center of Excellence processes and partners with Global HR Service Delivery and the HR Coordinator to ensure source documentation and transactions are complete and timely; designated functional owners retain program, process, and business decisions.
    • Develops, maintains, validates, and distributes recurring and ad hoc workforce, organizational, compliance, sustainability, and operational reports, metrics, dashboards, and data extracts for HR, Finance, executive leadership, auditors, regulatory agencies, and external business partners; performs data reconciliation, analysis, and issue resolution to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
    • Provides designated secondary backup for selected U.S. payroll activities and payroll-related Workday troubleshooting under documented controls and supports audits, privacy requests, and approved compliance reporting; the US Payroll Manager retains payroll decisions and processing accountability.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Experience in a global or multi-entity environment and formal Workday training or Workday Pro accreditation preferred.
    • Intermediate to advanced Workday configuration, administration, and troubleshooting capability, with a clear understanding that system administration supports but does not replace assigned policy, program, process, or business ownership.
