HR Support Specialist
Keeping the People Engine Running With Accuracy, Care, and Trust
At Gold Beach every employee interaction matters.
The HR Support Specialist helps keep the daily People Support engine running. Payroll preparation, onboarding documents, benefit enrollments, employee changes, password resets, records, and follow-up may appear tactical, but each task directly affects an employee’s trust in the Company and a manager’s ability to lead.
This position is more than administrative support. It is a confidential, detail-driven development role designed to grow with the business. The HR Support Specialist works closely with the Director of Human Resources, learns the reasons behind our controls and practices, and takes on increasing responsibility as knowledge and judgment develop.
Our Purpose
Our purpose is to provide dependable, respectful, and confidential support throughout the employee lifecycle.
We keep payroll, benefits, retirement-plan administration, Paycom transactions, employee records, and HR deadlines moving accurately so the Director can review outcomes, develop leaders, improve systems, and prepare the organization for growth.
The quality of our daily work creates the foundation for employee trust, strong internal controls, and an HR function the business can rely on.
Living and Leading Our Core Values
The People Support team is entrusted with helping the organization live its values consistently. We do not simply explain the Core Values; we model them through every decision, system, conversation, and employee experience.
Integrity
We protect confidential information, follow approved processes, document our work, and ask questions when something does not look right.
We understand that payroll, benefits, employee records, and HR transactions affect people’s lives. Accuracy and follow-through are non-negotiable.
We never approve our own work or make unsupported assumptions.
Community
We treat employees and managers with patience, respect, and care, regardless of location or position.
We build relationships across the Company and help people feel supported, informed, and connected.
We work as one People Support team and help teammates succeed.
Engagement
We stay organized, respond promptly, learn the systems, and actively look for ways to improve the employee and manager experience.
We learn why processes and controls matter so we can grow beyond completing tasks and become a trusted HR partner.
We accept coaching, take on stretch assignments, and build our knowledge continuously.
Experience
Every email, phone call, Paycom transaction, offer letter, benefit question, and payroll correction shapes an employee’s experience with Gold Beach.
We provide clear answers, timely follow-up, accurate information, and a human connection.
We make HR easier to navigate for employees and managers.
