Job Description

  • Administers employee health, welfare, and retirement plans, including 401(k), medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, leave of absence, and FMLA.
  • Coordinates and tracks eligibility for benefits, distributes enrollment information electronically and by mail, and assists employees with questions or concerns.
  • Acts as a liaison between employees and insurance providers to resolve benefit-related issues and ensure effective utilization of plans.
  • Supports the annual open enrollment process, including distributing materials, communicating plan changes, and coordinating meetings with carriers and employees.
  • Reviews monthly invoices, resolves discrepancies with carriers and/or Benefits Department, and prepares benefits reports as requested.
  • Leads companywide recruitment efforts, including sourcing candidates, writing and posting job advertisements, and reporting results to management.
  • Assists employees with work visa applications and renewals, coordinating with immigration services and ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
  • Administers relocation programs, including coordinating logistics, reimbursements, and communication for relocating employees.
  • Performs onboarding processes, including conducting new hire orientations and coordinating delivery of equipment, tools, and resources with relevant departments.
  • Maintains job postings on HRIS, company website, and external job boards; assists with applicant searches, background checks, MVRs, and drug testing.
  • Enters new hire and termination information in HRIS and maintains records in SharePoint.
  • Answers incoming calls for the HR department and provides administrative support, including correspondence, recordkeeping, scanning documents, and updating HRIS.
  • Maintains and audits employee records to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Prepares reports and assists with ad hoc HR projects as requested by HR leadership.
  • Coordinates with project teams to gather content such as jobsite information and job site photographs for new hire orientation.
  • Performs other HR-related tasks as assigned to support the department and company initiatives.

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5 years of HR experience, with exposure to benefits administration, HR operations, recruitment, and onboarding.
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems and document management systems (SharePoint preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Must have excellent computer skills on all Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills are essential in this role to help in the support and coordination of document control from project field personnel
  • Familiarity with COBRA, ERISA, FMLA and related state and federal regulations required
