HR Representative

Responsibilities

• Provide daily support to the Human Resources team by processing data for employee transactions including new hires, change of status, terminations, etc. within the PeopleSoft HRIS.
• Maintaining employee files and records in compliance with internal record retention policy and external government contractor requirements
• Provide overall onboarding administration
• Facilitate pre-employment activities like background checks, drug screens, exams and others with finalist candidates and service providers
• Track candidates' activities to meet start date deadline
• Dispatch new hire documents to candidates upon approval
• Provide general administrative support to HR Operations team as needed
• Maintain high level of confidentiality

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required
• Strong computer literacy and experience with an HRIS system like PeopleSoft
• 2+ years of experience
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products, with experience using spreadsheet applications (Excel) required
