HR Operations Specialist - Remote

Genesis10 is currently seeking an HR Operations Specialist for a contract position with a Leading Pharmacy Benefit Manager located in MN. This is a 5+ month contract opportunity. This position is fully remote.

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications

Position Overview:
This role provides foundational HR operational support by responding to routine employee inquiries, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate HR data and records. The ideal candidate will focus on learning HR systems, policies, and standard processes while delivering consistent, high-quality service, following established procedures and escalating issues appropriately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute employee and contractor transactions in HR systems with attention to detail and data accuracy
• Perform routine audits and validations to support data integrity and identify discrepancies for correction
• Create, update, and maintain personnel files in accordance with records management standards
• Support assigned HR programs and onsite activities by completing defined administrative and logistical tasks
• Follow established process documentation and escalate issues or exceptions appropriately
• Communicate clearly and professionally with employees and internal partners to resolve routine questions
• Respond to employee and non-employee HR inquiries by accurately applying documented policies, procedures, and standard processes
• Other duties as assigned

Primary Requirements:

• High school diploma from an accredited school or equivalent GED
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship
• Takes initiative within defined processes and deadlines, seeking guidance as needed
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail, time management, and organization in a fast-paced environment
• Strong customer focus with effective communication and collaboration across internal teams
• Maintains confidentiality and exercises sound judgment when handling sensitive information
• Proficient experience with Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Must understand, comply with and attest to the security responsibilities and security controls unique to their job, and comply with all applicable legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements and internal policies and procedures
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job and, if requested, reasonable accommodations will be made to enable employees with disabilities to perform the essential functions, absent undue hardship

Desired Skills:

• 1+ year of work experience in human resources
• Experience with HR information system(s) such as Workday
