Our client, a well established manufacturing organization, is seeking a Manager, People & Culture.
Position Summary
The Manager, People & Culture serves as a strategic business partner responsible for leading human resources initiatives that support organizational goals, employee engagement, and business performance. This role partners closely with leadership to develop and execute people strategies, drive talent development, manage employee relations, support organizational change, and foster an inclusive, high-performing culture.
The ideal candidate brings strong HR business partner experience, particularly supporting sales organizations, along with expertise in employee relations, change management, workforce planning, and talent development.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with business leaders to develop and implement People & Culture strategies that align with organizational objectives.
- Lead and support policy development, implementation, and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Oversee key HR functions, including:
- Talent acquisition
- Onboarding
- Training and development
- Performance management
- Employee relations
- Benefits administration
- Foster an inclusive and engaging workplace culture that attracts, retains, and develops top talent.
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees on performance, collaboration, conflict resolution, and workplace concerns.
- Conduct workforce and skills-gap analyses to identify development opportunities and succession plans.
- Lead change management initiatives and support organizational growth and transformation efforts.
- Monitor HR metrics and analytics to identify trends, evaluate effectiveness, and make data- driven recommendations.
- Ensure the effective utilization of HRIS platforms and related systems to maintain accurate employee data and reporting.
- Manage and develop direct reports while promoting accountability and professional growth.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree required.
- 5 to 7 years of Human Resources Business Partner experience.
- Experience supporting a sales organization.
- Strong employee relations experience.
- Demonstrated change management experience.
- Knowledge of employment laws, employee engagement strategies, and performance management practices.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
Preferred Qualifications- Professional HR certification such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR.
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, distribution, or related industries.
- Experience with sales incentive governance, sales job frameworks, and sales workforce planning.
Leadership Responsibilities- Direct management responsibility for a small HR team (2-5 direct reports).
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
