    About the Role:
     
    The Human Resources Manager partners with leaders and employees to support the execution of Pak Energy's people strategy and day-to-day HR operations. Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, this role executes, manages, and continuously improves HR programs and processes that support the full employee lifecycle, including but not limited to employee engagement, talent development, performance management, compliance, and organizational effectiveness. This role oversees the implementation and effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives, ensures consistent application of policies and procedures, and identifies opportunities to improve processes, employee experience, and operational efficiency across the organization.
     
    The ideal candidate is proactive, collaborative, and capable of balancing tactical execution with broader organizational priorities in a dynamic and growing environment. This role follows a hybrid work environment, with in-office and remote work expectations varying based on business needs and team collaboration. 
     
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
    • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
    • 7-10 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
    • At least 2-3 years of supervisory experience.
    • Experience supporting employee relations, performance management, learning and development, culture and engagement, metrics and reporting, and compliance activities.
    • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
    • Experience supporting multistate employee populations.
    • Experience successfully handling multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to build trust and credibility with employees and leaders at all levels.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
     
    Preferred Qualifications
    • PHR, SHRM-CP, SPHR, or SHRM-SCP certification.
    • PMP or similar project management certification.
    • Experience with HR analytics and reporting tools.
    • Experience using Paycor 
     
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Serve as a trusted HR partner to leaders by providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, policy interpretation, and workforce-related matters.
    • Execute, manage, and continuously improve HR programs, processes, and practices to support organizational objectives.
    • Oversee the implementation and effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives, recommending enhancements based on business needs and employee feedback.
    • Manage employee relations matters, investigations, corrective actions, and performance improvement processes.
    • Partner with managers to support employee development, talent reviews, succession readiness, and retention efforts.
    • Monitor and facilitate performance management processes, ensuring consistency and accountability across the organization.
    • Assist with compensation administration, job evaluations, and annual compensation planning activities.
    • Lead and support HR projects, process improvement efforts, and policy initiatives.
    • Analyze HR metrics and workforce data to identify trends and provide recommendations for operational and organizational improvement.
    • Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
    • Maintain HR policies, procedures, and documentation to support operational consistency and compliance.
    • Partner with the HR Generalist to ensure efficient execution of employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and leave management.
    • Support organizational change initiatives and help drive adoption of HR programs and processes.
    • Collaborate with the VP of HR on strategic initiatives and annual HR priorities. 
     
    Supervisory Responsibilities:
    • This position will supervise one direct report.
     
    Success Measures: 
    In the first 12 months, the HR Manager will:
     
    • Establish trusted partnerships with business leaders across the organization.
    • Improve manager capability through effective coaching and HR support.
    • Help drive culture, employee engagement, and retention initiatives.
    • Ensure consistent application of HR policies and employment practices.
    • Support successful execution of performance management, training and development, and talent review processes.
    • Lead assigned projects from beginning to end.
    • Leverage workforce data and insights to improve organizational effectiveness and decision making.
    • Back up HR generalist as needed.
