We are seeking an HR Manager to lead all human resources functions at a manufacturing site, partnering closely with leadership to support organizational goals. This role blends hands-on HR operations with strategic initiatives across talent, employee relations, and compliance.

Description

  • Lead all on-site HR functions, acting as the primary HR contact for employees and leadership
  • Partner with executive leadership to support workforce planning and business strategy
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and talent acquisition processes
  • Oversee employee relations, conduct investigations, and provide guidance on workplace issues
  • Administer benefits programs, including open enrollment and ongoing employee support
  • Manage HRIS (ADP Workforce Now), ensuring accurate employee records and payroll coordination
  • Oversee workers' compensation, FMLA, disability programs, and return-to-work initiatives
  • Analyze HR data (headcount, overtime, compensation) to support leadership decision-making
  • Plan and execute employee engagement programs and events
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, internal policies, and audit requirements
  • Support safety, compliance training, and cross-functional operational projects

Work Environment & Physical Considerations:

  • Fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and noise; requires regular movement (standing/walking), occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs), and interaction with production equipment, with flexibility for occasional travel or extended hours.

Profile

A successful HR Manager:

  • Proven HR Manager or senior HR Generalist experience, ideally in manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations, compliance, and HR best practices
  • Experience with HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now preferred)
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to balance operational and strategic responsibilities
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills across all levels of the organization
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
  • Ability to work effectively in an on-site, production-focused environment

Job Offer

  • Compensation: $85,000 - $95,000 base
